Matteo has been dancing for nearly his entire life. Born in San Francisco, he started dancing at just five years old and has spent the past 20 years dancing seriously and competitively. While he loves all styles of dance, Latin is especially close to his heart.
As a teacher, Matteo especially enjoys teaching International Latin and helping couples create their Wedding First Dance. What he enjoys most about dancing is the feeling of movement and musicality, as well as the satisfaction that comes from being able to dance well and express something that feels uniquely his own. He brings that same passion for movement, musicality, and individuality into his teaching.
