This program represents our vision for the future of dance—bold, expressive, and full of energy. At Youth Dance, students explore the full potential of movement, discovering the power of rhythm and expression through the dynamic beats of Cuban and traditional European music. The result is a stunning blend of motion and sound that brings each performance to life.

Youth Dance is one of the top competitive programs for young dancers in the United States, open to students ages 8 to 21. For younger children, we offer a specially designed Teddy Bear Program. Since 2014, our dancers have brought home national titles across multiple age categories every year. In 2017, our standout year at the United States National Championships, our students swept all Syllabus titles in Pre-Teen Latin and Standard, Junior Latin and Standard, and Youth Latin and Standard. The winning streak continued in 2018, with gold medals in Youth and Junior Syllabus categories and strong placements in Open Level competitions as well.

Our students train using the ISTD syllabus for International Style Standard and Latin dance, progressing through a structured medal system where individual knowledge and skill are evaluated at each level. While we emphasize competitive and performance excellence, participation in competitions is optional.

Training includes Waltz, Tango, Viennese Waltz, Foxtrot, Quickstep, Cha Cha, Samba, Rumba, Paso Doble, and Jive. We also offer specialized conditioning to ensure students are in peak physical form. Having a partner is encouraged but not required—every dancer can thrive in our program and achieve their own personal success.
